Our Advantage
YSI has two main strengths.
First, we offer management consulting services directly provided by the individual with actual management experience. While there are many consulting firms in the world, in most cases services are primarily delivered by junior consultants, with experienced partners only providing oversight; it is rare for clients to receive services directly from consultants with hands-on management experience. Furthermore, while there are many successful business executives in the world, there are few who have the time or willingness to provide consulting services. YSI bridges this gap. In other words, we offer practical advice based on the real-world experiences of a former executive, delivered directly to clients by the same individual, without intermediaries.
Second, we possess a deep understanding of the cultural differences between Japan and the United States. Having studied at a Japanese university and American graduate school, worked at the U.S. subsidiary of a Japanese company and at their headquarters in Japan, and experienced management at an American company, YSI has gained profound insights into both the management styles and underlying cultures of Japanese and American companies. Therefore, especially for clients with business operations spanning both Japan and the U.S., we can provide unique and well-balanced support based on these two different perspectives.
